Changing Channel Commit and/or Burst

When trying to change your channel commit through you have to...


1.       Open uControl

2.       Click on "Services" Tab then click "SIP Trunks".

3.       Click on the blue sip trunk that you are wanting to edit.

4.       Beside the SIP Trunk in question click the "details" button

To change the commit

5.       Click the "Edit" button above the SIP Trunk information
a. Enter the desired committed channels.
b. Click "Save"

To change the Maximum Channels

6.       Under the Configured SIP Binding - Click "Edit"
a. Enter your desired Maximum channel level in the channels field
b. Click "Save"


Click Management-->Dashboard to return to the main screen.


Your maximum is a combination of all of your bindings channel count.
So if you have a commit of 5 and want to burst to 10 and have one binding make the binding channel 10 but if you have two bindings you would make the channels 5 each.


Note: Bursting is set by manipulating either your commit or max. For further information please review Channel Commit/Burst and load balancing
